After pictures of members of the ASU cheerleading squad posing in their bras and panties made it online, athletic director Lisa Love acted swiftly and justly.
I say justly because I couldn't agree more with Love's decision.
Arizona State has a reputation to uphold and to be brutally honest, these cheerleaders just don't cut it for me. Listen, I'm not saying I'd pass up the chance to give each and every one of them the best 48 seconds of their life, but the University can do better (especially the one second from the right. Ugh.)
I don't see any g-strings in this picture. I don't even see a thong. And I sure as hell don't see these girls making out or even grabbing each other's asses. I find it despicable.
As an Arizona State alum, and on behalf of Sun Devils everywhere, I apologize for their disappointing behavior.

Our Cheer squad has never been that good compared to the normal talent seen around campus. I've never understood this but accepted it because it only takes a stroll down Palm Walk to be reminded of the wonderful talent at ASU. I'm glad Lisa Love has taken action. She has continued to improve all aspects of ASU sports.
